The Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training, incorporating the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework. Significantly, according to the AQF both the ICHM Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) and the Master of International Hotel Management are rated as equivalent in standing to any Australian university undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, having been approved by TEQSA.
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a standard for comparing the study attainment and performance of students for higher education across the European Union and other collaborating European countries. Each year of study successfully completed at ICHM attracts ECTS credits.
ICHM utilises the world class facilities of the TAFE SA Regency Campus to deliver their degree programs. All ICHM degrees are delivered by dedicated staff employed directly by ICHM.

The Commonwealth Department of Education has approved ICHM as a FEE-HELP provider. As indicated elsewhere, FEE-HELP allows Australian students to obtain student loans. The Study Assist website provides information for students about government assistance for financing tertiary study.
ICHM has built a Quality Management System (QMS) (restricted access) which is used to ensure that it continually meets all relevant accreditation and registration standards. All ICHM staff have access to the QMS, and participate in cyclical self-assessments which help identify improvements to policies, procedures and associated work practices.
The Commonwealth Department of Education maintains Tuition Assurance to ensure international students are protected in case of provider failure. ICHM is registered for such Tuition Assurance.
For domestic students, it is traditional for ICHM to cover all students through membership of a Tuition Assurance arrangement. Currently ICHM is partially exempted from this rule, and the Commonwealth Department of Education covers domestic students who use FEE-HELP as they already cover international students. See attached below.
Domestic students who do not use FEE-HELP remain covered by the authorised Tuition Assurance provider.
