An event of the Student Representative Council (SRC), the FoodFest is a regular international melting pot and this semester’s was no exception.

There were more than 30 students in the kitchen on the evening of 22 October, representing 10 countries.

SRC member Jakalyn Larkin (pictured) said the FoodFests are a really important ingredient to ICHM’s events mix.

‘I enjoy to see everyone come together through food, in that students from elsewhere, many a long way from home, get to display their cultures and Australian students get to experience and appreciate them’, she says.

James Chew is SRC President and Mikaela Adair is Vice-President.

Director Student and Industry Engagement Derek Milligan made one of the signature Australian dessert dishes, ‘frogs in a pond’.
