From Kolkata, India, Adele Xavier is a first for ICHM in winning a StudyAdelaide India Student Ambassador award.
Each year StudyAdelaide recruits a new team of Student Ambassadors, and Adele Xavier is one of 10 winners in its 2019 India Student Ambassador campaign.
This is the first time that anyone from ICHM will be involved as a StudyAdelaide India Student Ambassador.
Adele completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calcutta in 2019; however, she has always had a deep interest in hospitality and has decided to change her field of study to a Master of International Hotel Management at ICHM.
There is no doubt that Adele is at the top of her game, being one of 10 winners in a field of close to 600 applications from students who look to continue their education in Adelaide in July 2019.
Winners receive StudyAdelaide ambassador certificates, up to AUD$1500 towards airfares, AUD$1000 towards living expenses, two weeks free accommodation and free access to a number of Adelaide Festival events.

StudyAdelaide is a marketing agency promoting Adelaide as a destination for international students, and is funded by the South Australian Government and its member institutions.
In particular, this year StudyAdelaide looked for ambassadors who will support its social media strategy and have an impact on the content it shares with 700,000+ social media followers on Facebook, Instagram, Weibo and WeChat.
To be eligible to apply for an Ambassador award, students must be 18 years or over, a current student at one of StudyAdelaide’s member institutions, and enrolled at the institution for the duration of 2019.
