Student Well-being Services - consists of well-being resources or tools that current, and future ICHM students may find useful during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Things To Do (TTD) & Entertainment - Presents with a number of activities designed to help you engage with others safely or simply entertain.  

Latest Updates on Hospitality & Tourism Industry - provides links relating to the hospitality and tourism industry, how it is continuing during this trying time, and how it will look to rebound after the pandemic with future projects.

Financial Assistance Services - directs you to organisations and websites that may be able to provide some financial assistance services, and suggestions on how to potentially earn some income. 

Useful News Articles - provides you with useful links to news articles, and information relating directly to students. For further detail on each of the articles, you will need to contact the news source directly.

Archive - as new information is added to each section, older material may be moved here for future reference.

WELL-BEING SUPPORT HOTLINE NUMBERS - We are all feeling various emotions as we journey through this surreal environment we now face from COVID-19.

ICHM continues to offer Welfare Support via Renata Wilson by phone - 08 8228 3696 or on email - Renata also has an ICHM Wellness Team available for ICHM students, just click on the ICHM Wellness Team link here.

COVID-19 International Student Support and Welfare - Australian Government Information (New - 27/4/20)

SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support (New - 23/4/20) A new online chat function is now available as part of the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line to support the mental health and well-being of the South Australian community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

People feeling distressed, isolated or needing additional mental health support, can use the new function to chat online with Uniting Communities’ mental health counsellors.

The service is available 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. Support by phone or video call is also available by calling 1800 632 753 during these hours.

STUDY ADELAIDE - Study Adelaide is here to support international students in Adelaide during this unique time. They have created a COVID-19 update for international students page, and a virtual self-isolation pack

They also have a number of activities to engage in including; note also that many of the recreational activities can apply to all students. See these in the Things To To (TTD) & Entertainment section.

Community Food Hub, 216 Wright Street, Adelaide (New - 19/4/20) - The Baptist Care SA Community Food Hub provides free bread, fruit and vegetables as well as food and essential items at a reduced cost.  To access the hub, students just need to show their student ID card.

Australian Red Cross - Important Message for People on Temporary Visas (New - 19/4/20) - Red Cross is receiving funding from the Australian Government for the next six months to deliver emergency relief and casework support for people who are on temporary visas.

Higher Education Relief Package - Department of Education, Skills and Employment (Press Release)

The Australian Government announced international students experiencing financial hardship who have been living in Australia longer than 12 months will be able to access their superannuation. 

ICHM students who have left Australia and who will not return.  You are able to claim your Superannuation that your employer paid for the time you were working in Australia. To do this please review the link.

The South Australian Government has endorsed a range of initiatives aimed at supporting tenants and landlords affected by COVID-19 including a short-term moratorium on evictions and preventing landlords from increasing rent.
