ICHM has assembled an expert team of academic lecturers; leading industry professionals in their respective fields, they come equipped with extensive knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry. All with the aim of producing a superior student experience, and the highest quality graduate outcomes.
Working alongside the academic team, the Industry and Career Development Managers bring with them a wealth of industry knowledge and contacts, providing ICHM students with a significant advantage when seeking Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placements.
Leading the academic teams on the campus are ICHM Principal Dr. George Brown and Kellie Lumsden Program Director Academic.
Siggi is a strategic marketer with over 25 years of tourism experience spanning a diverse range of
management roles. Prior to ICHM Siggi was the International Operations Manager at the
South Australian Tourism Commission.
In this role she has been leading and empowering a geographically dispersed team of PR, marketing
and trade events professionals with diverse backgrounds and skills. Her expertise lies in successfully
delivering integrated consumer and trade marketing campaigns and partnership projects based on solid
strategic planning, execution and project direction. During her tenure South Australia experienced
new records in international visitation and tourism expenditure through improved collaboration and
strong partnerships with industry and Airlines.

Tristan has come from industry with extensive experience in stakeholder education
and engagement across all levels of corporate leadership and restaurant management.
With more than 20 years spent in the retail and multi-national corporate sector,
he has proven expertise in corporate development, performance management and
strategic business planning and implementation.
He is passionate to share his experiences in a meaningful way that students
can utilise directly within their studies and apply within their practical experiences.
Tristan is also currently undertaking studies in the Masters of Business Administration
at University of South Australia.

Dr Nathan James Crane is a design academic, writer and media consultant with
10 years of experience in the design and architecture industry.
Initially trained as an interior designer and stylist, he ran his own design agency,
Nathan James Design Studio, working on high-end residential projects in Australia.
During this time he was a sessional tutor and lecturer at the University of South Australia,
where he completed his PhD. Nathan is a widely published design writer and editor on titles
including The Adelaide Review, FORM Journal, LUXURY and Marmalade magazines and a regular
guest judge for design industry awards programmes. He is currently the director of Minutia,
a media relations and communications agency for architects, designers and creative professionals
and a lecturer who is passionate about developing engaging design-led subjects at ICHM.

Steve has over 25 years of HR Practitioner experience in Australia and the UK in a variety of roles
(including Associate Director, Acting Director, Manager, Business Partner, and Consultant)
and a variety of Employers (including Flinders University, Flinders Medical Centre, BHP Billiton).
He also has UK experience Lecturing in HR, Management, and Organisational Behaviour and was
also the Program Manager for Post-Graduate HR Qualifications at Doncaster Business School.
In addition to his ICHM duties Steve also guest lectures in Health Service Management/HR at Flinders University.
