| ICHM Bachelor Degree (year 4) |
Fourth or final year, also called the Bachelor Degree year, provides students with the advantage of a university level bachelor degree for those seeking the best positions in a competitive global market. The subjects deliver the additional skills and knowledge for successful professional management careers in hotel, hospitality, tourism and related fields.
The final ICHM Bachelor Degree year is one of the most industry focused degrees worldwide and also one of the most flexible, allowing students to choose subjects and study options to match their career plans. Part-time and online delivery also permits flexibility for students wishing to commence or continue their careers while they complete their degree. Be prepared, the final degree year is the most challenging! Students will be expected to undertake more extensive reading, research and critical analysis at this level.
Note: Not every elective will be offered each semester. Gastronomy and Professional Wine Studies are not available online. Course counsellors will assist with subject/elective selection. Students should also check elective prerequisites when choosing electives. This is particularly important for students who have completed studies at other schools, fast tracking to the ICHM Degree. The Approved Study elective allows students the opportunity to undertake a second or third year subject from another university or college degree course that complements the study and/or employment outcomes of the degree.
