SHA Academic Program
About Year 3

With two different industry placement experiences and most practical subjects completed, students in third year turn their attention to more management subjects. As well as the core business disciplines, students explore areas beyond the traditional business degree. These additional subject areas broaden their knowledge base, providing greater insight into the issues which impact on business decision making in hotels and related industries.

In addition, the computer-based hotel simulation exercise challenges students to plan, think and react within a realistic framework. The exercise is guaranteed to be a highly-charged and rewarding experience, challenging students to think beyond their textbooks. ICHM has extended the traditional Swiss Hotel Association model with additional international management subjects to ensure graduates are equipped with the latest management and business skills to meet the changing demands of the global industry.
