Australian Students

1. Application for Admission

View the Academic Requirements - Country Specific table to see what system and level of academic achievement applies to you. Then, carefully complete the Application Form, including all attachments (e.g. certified academic transcripts) and email, post or fax to the ICHM Admissions Office. Alternatively you can now apply to ICHM on-line. Please ensure that you complete all necessary fields and upload required attachments.
Note students in Victoria may apply to ICHM through VTAC, however they should also submit an application form direct to ICHM.

2. Assessment

ICHM will assess your application, contact referees and arrange an interview if required.

3. Provisional Acceptance

ICHM will advise you of the outcome of your application within two weeks of receiving your completed application.

If your application is successful, ICHM will send a Letter of Offer to you. This letter will confirm the course you have been offered, the fees payable and the course commencement date. Fees may be paid by cheque or direct transfer into ICHM ESOS Trust Account.

4. Payment of Semester Fees

The Letter of Offer in step 3 will advise you of the amount due and the due date for payment. If you receive the Letter of Offer within 60 days or less of the commencement date of the course, full fees are payable immediately upon receipt of this letter. Otherwise the Semester’s Fees are payable in full, two months prior to the commencement of the semester.

To assist with their fees it should be noted that Australian citizens can now undertake their studies at ICHM using FEE-HELP.

5. New Student Information Pack

About eight weeks prior to the start of your first semester, you will be sent an information pack outlining what you need to bring with you to campus and answers to other questions new students commonly ask. We are sure you will have many questions at this stage, so we encourage you to contact the Admissions Office for any further help. New students should also advise ICHM when they will arrive at campus and if pick-up is required from the airport, train or bus.

6. Pack your bags for an experience you will never forget!

Firstly our advice is relax! Don’t worry, most students don’t know anyone else when they first arrive.

So together with your bags, we suggest you also pack your friendly and outgoing personality and prepare to be involved in all of the great orientation activities, designed specially to make you feel welcome and settle in as quickly as possible.
