Eynesbury is comprised of the Eynesbury College Academy of English (ECAE) and the Eynesbury Institute of Business and Technology (EIBT), which are in the centre of Adelaide. Eynesbury offers modern well-equipped classrooms, state-of-the-art computing and IT facilities, an outstanding resource centre and an outdoor recreation area.

While at Eynesbury, students have a range of accommodation options which will be advised by Eynesbury.

English (ELICOS)
The General English course at ECAE focuses on the student’s writing, listening and speaking skills, while the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) prepares students for study at a tertiary level.

The English courses are taught in five week modules, on average students will require 10 weeks of intensive English for each 0.5 IELTS point required.

CERTIFICATE IV (TERTIARY PREPARATION PROGRAM)
This pre-university level program is the equivalent of upper secondary level and is designed to prepare year 11/O level students for entry into ICHM. Strong academic skills are required in the following areas - comprehension, note taking, problem solving, researching, critical analysis, rational argument and essay writing. The Certificate IV conducted at EIBT can be completed in two semesters, depending on the student’s ability, commitment to study and time available.

Upon “Successful Completion” of the Certificate IV (Tertiary Preparation Program) in University Foundation Studies, students can proceed to ICHM. “Successful Completion” means a pass in 8 subjects, with at least 4 subjects being P1 or higher.

The application form for English and Certificate IV (Tertiary Preparation Program) in University Foundation Studies at Eynesbury is included in this brochure. Applications for both Eynesbury and ICHM courses can be submitted together and also packaged for international student Visa purposes.
